Under the theme of black, we had to modify and do fabric manipulation for a show-stopper outfit. Inspired by futurism, sci-fi and structure, I created an entire garment out of recycled paper found in recycling bins covered in fabric. There is not a single seam in this dress, it was all stuck together by a glue gun. There is over 210 sheets of paper, 35m of hand-covered glittered black rope and 200 hand stuck rhinestones to create a space-like illusion. Not to mention more than 80 hours of work put into it.
